Day 01: Arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport (San José)
Day 02: Transfer to Tortuguero National Park known as Costa Rica’s “little Amazon”.
Day 03: Enjoy a
kayak guided tour through the national park’s narrow canals and admire its vast green filled lush
rainforests where one can appreciate abundant wildlife.
Day 04: Continue to the Pacuare River, V Class Rafting River. The first day we will run
13kms (8 miles) of
continuous class III white water for a total of 14 rapids.
Day 05: Choose from a number of activities or just relax in a hammock.
Day 06: All of the class IV rapids are on this day. This day is significantly longer on the
river, with
23kms (14 miles) to travel and about 30 rapids. Continue to the northern lowlands of Arenal Volcano and La
Fortuna town.
Day 07: Original ATV Fourwheeling: You will love this adventurous 4 x 4 ride along the base
of the
impressive Arenal Volcano. Rappel Tour: Imagine yourself in the midst of thick rainforest at the top of a
magical canyon full of tropical waterfalls with surprises each step of the way. Prepare to get wet!
Day 08: We will take you around Arenal Lake with magnificent views of the Volcano. In the
way, Viento Fresco
waterfall is waiting for you. In Monteverde, you will feel excitement and emotions when you enjoy bungee
jumping, extreme tarzan and superman and fantastic distances of each of the cables, the longest 3400 feet
long and 600 feet high.
Day 09: Transfer to the Pacific Coast and relax on the beach.
Day 10: We will fish in the best area of North Pacific. Pacific sailfish, blue, black and
striped marlin,
Dorado, yellow fin and big eye tuna, Wahoo, sierra mackerel, Spanish mackerel, crevalle jack, big eye
trevally and a variety of snapper including: pacific cubera or dog tooth and the rooster fish known as "the
marlin from the rocks" up to 80 pounds.
Day 11: Diving Tour: Guanacaste is best known for its spectacular marine life, both in
abundance and
diversity.
Day 12: Relax on the beach.
Day 13: Return to San Jose Airport.
