Day 01: Arrival at Tocumen International Airport.
Day 02: Panama City Tour & the Panama Canal starts out with a fascinating visit to the
Miraflores Locks
Visitor Center. You will then continue to the Biodiversity Museum Continue for lunch to the Casco Viejo
historical part of town. End the tour with a historical walking tour through the historic center which is
home to beautiful restored colonial houses and interesting architecture, beautiful cathedrals and
plazas.
Day 03: A perfect opportunity to visit an indigenous village in the midst of an
exceptionally wonderful
natural setting that supports in harmony their lifestyle and traditions. The Embera indigenous people still
live today as many decades ago in their original homes deep in the Darien. Learn about their traditional
dances, music, singing, use of plants and flowers as natural medicine, construction of their housing and
many more customs they are still practicing. Late this afternoon you catch a flight from Albrook domestic
airport to David, the capital of the Chiriqui province.
Day 04: Go to the highest point of Panama on this exhilarating Jeep 4x4 tour of Barú
Volcano. On a clear
day, this chilly volcano peak offers incredible views of both the Caribbean and Pacific. Bundle up and get
ready for the off-roading experience of a lifetime.
Day 05: The Gulf of Chiriquí National Marine Park extends along Panama’s western Pacific
coast. On this tour
you'll get to explore some of the local islands and their beaches. Provided the ocean has calm enough
conditions you'll also get to go snorkeling in this ecologically diverse body of water.
Day 06: Continue to Sixaola Border with Costa Rica and transfer to Manuel Antonio. Set sail
towards the
horizon aboard a catamaran, admiring the marine life as well as islands and rock formations close to the
coast, bordering Manuel Antonio National Park.
Day 07: Explore the pristine natural beauty of the world famous Manuel Antonio National
Park filled with
exotic wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, birds, reptiles and butterflies.
Day 08: Transfer to Monteverde. In the way boating while birdwatching, observing
crocodiles, and enjoying
the lush flora and diverse fauna on the Tarcoles River.
Day 09: Get a different perspective of the cloud forest, as you literally fly through it on
a ¨Zip Line¨
Canopy Tour! You will also visit the Hanging Bridges. Enjoy the lake crossing boat transfer to Arenal. Relax
in the best hot springs of the área.
Day 10: Home to more than 200 speices of rare bird, Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge is one of
the most
biologically rich wetlands in the world. Many mammals and reptiles can also be spotted around the freshwater
lagoon, making it one of Costa Rica's best wildlife-watching destinations.
Day 11: Continue to the border with Nicaragua and transfer Granada City. Then City Tour to
Granada, known as
the oldest colonial city of Mainland America, has survived pirate’s attacks, civil wars, fires and more in
its rich history, since its foundation in 1524. We will start this tour full of history visiting the main
Plaza, La Casa de los Leones cultural center, the San Francisco museum and convent, the Ceramic museum, La
Merced church and La Calzada.
Day 12: Begin your journey with to the city of Managua, where we will present you the
culture and history of
Nicaragua through museums, parks and historic sites of the capital of the Republic. Then we will travel to
the Masaya Volcano National Park, the first and largest national park in the country to observe the
impressive Volcano Masaya and visit its active crater. We will visit the famous Masaya craft market.
Day 13: You'll start the tour by being transferred to the harbor, where you'll take the
boat for a ride
around some of the famous isletas og Granada. Keep in mind that there are 365 isletas that originated from
the eruption of Mombacho Volcano. During the ride, don't miss the opportunity to delight yourself with the
flora and fauna and tranquil lifestyle of Lake Nicaragua. You may also have the chance to see monkeys in
some of the islets. You'll then arrive at the private island of Zopango, situated in front of Mombacho
Volcano. Here you can take a swim, explore the island, birdwatch or relax in a hammock, all while you let
the views of Mombacho Volcano take your breath away. Enjoy a delicious lunch of local freshly cooked fish in
front of you on the barbeque, before heading back to the harbor and your return to your hotel.
Day 14: Private transfer to the Augusto Sandino International Airport.
